CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Lauren Dalton was named the Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career, the conference office announced on Monday.
 
Dalton picked up one of Campbellsville's two event victories in a 158-61 loss to NCAA Division III Centre College on Saturday.
 
The sophomore highlighted her meet with a victory in the 200-meter short course individual medley. She posted a time of 2:41.95 to beat out six other swimmers in the field.
 
Dalton also finished as the runner-up in the 100-meter backstroke after completing the race in 1:14.61.
 
In relay action, Dalton was a part of the 200-meter freestyle relay team that finished fourth with a time of 2:27.00, while also competing in the 400-meter freestyle relay where her team finished third with a mark of 4:42.95.
 
This is Dalton's first career weekly honor.
 
Campbellsville is set to compete at the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Frenzy on Friday and Saturday this week.
