A cornerstone of Campbellsville University women's basketball for over three decades, Ginger High Colvin enters her 19th season as head coach in 2025-26, continuing a legacy of remarkable success. An alumna of Campbellsville ('90) and a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame, Colvin has solidified the Lady Tigers' position as a national powerhouse, boasting an impressive cumulative record of 505-102 (.831). Her leadership has guided the team to 17 consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearances, including two Fab Four runs and a National Championship game, underscoring her status as one of the nation's elite coaches, evidenced by her back-to-back WBCA National Coach of the Year awards in 2023 and 2024.

Under Colvin's guidance, the Lady Tigers have become synonymous with postseason success. The pinnacle of this success came in the 2014-15 season when she led the team to its first-ever NAIA National Championship game appearance, finishing as the National Runner-Up with a program-tying 33 wins. Another historic run occurred in 2016-17, as the Lady Tigers reached the NAIA Fab Four after upsetting the tournament's top-seeded team, Freed-Hardeman. Throughout her tenure, her teams have consistently been a force in the Mid-South Conference, capturing numerous regular season and tournament championships.

Colvin's coaching journey at Campbellsville is a story of ascension. After a decorated playing career for the Lady Tigers, she began her coaching career as a part-time assistant under her mentor, Donna Wise, from 1991 to 2003. During that time, she also took the helm at Campbellsville High School, transforming a struggling program into a regional contender and capturing the school's first-ever district titles. She returned to the university as a full-time assistant in 2003 and was the clear successor when Wise retired, becoming only the second head coach in the program's storied history in 2007.

Her time as a student-athlete at Campbellsville was equally illustrious. A four-time All-Conference selection, Colvin was named a Third-Team All-American and the KIAC Player of the Year in 1990. A prolific playmaker, she still holds the NAIA national record for the highest career assist average (8.2) and owns the Campbellsville program records for assists in a game (16), season (305), and career (865).

Coach Colvin resides in Campbellsville and has a son, Kobe.
