Heaton's 18 Points Lead Campbellsville Lady Tigers to 80-68 Win Over Union College

Melly Heaton scored 18 points today to lead 13th ranked Campbellsville to its ninth straight win today with an 80-68 home court victory over Union College, the 21st ranked team in NAIA DII.
 
Campbellsville trailed 44-37 at halftime, but behind a dominating performance on the offensive glass, the Lady Tigers built an 18 point lead in the second half and cruised to the win.  Campbellsville had 23 offensive rebounds and scored 22 second chance points.
 
The Lady Tigers also used a size advantage to outscore Union in the paint 50-30.
 
Whitney Ballinger had 14 points and 12 rebounds, Kristi Ensminger had 13 points and freshman Jarobia Hill had 11 rebounds in the win.
 
Campbellsville will now travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to play in the Surf N Hoops Classic against Waldorf College on December 19th and will face 7th ranked St. Xavier on December 20th.
