Lady Tigers Suffer 74-57 Setback to Lindsey Wilson

Columbia, Kentucky - Campbellsville's Lady Tigers suffered a 74-57 setback at Lindsey Wilson College tonight to fall to 17-11 and 3-5 in Mid-South Conference play.

Campbellsville played even with Lindsey through the first ten minutes, but when Courtney Danis (FR/Mt. Sterling, KY) left with her third foul in the first half, a 16-13 Lindsey lead grew quickly to double digits as the Lady Blue Raiders outscored Campbellsville 25-11 to lead 41-24 at halftime.  Campbellsville could get no closer than within 15 points in the second half as league leading Lindsey Wilson improved to 7-1 in MSC play and 20-8 overall.

Danis led the Lady Tigers with 17 points and 8 rebounds and continued to make a case to be voted the MSC Women's Basketball Player of the Year in her freshman season.  She was the only Campbellsville player to score in double-digits in the win.

Campbellsville now will host the University of the Cumberlands on Thursday night in the Powell Athletic Center for Senior Night.  Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. with senior recognition activities just prior to the game start.
