Campbellsville, Kentucky - The Campbellsville University Tiger Men's Golf team earned it's first-ever bid to the NAIA National Golf Tournament today by winning the NAIA Region XI Golf Tournament at the Legacy Golf Club in Springfield, TN. Campbellsvile had secured an at-large bid to the National Tournament based on a top 15 national rating, but today's win solidifies the team's position among the nation's elite.

Jeff Sullivan was the overall medalist in the tournament and was joined on the All-Region team by
Scott Webb.
P.J. Throckmorton, the Tiger coach who previously announced his retirement at the end of this season was named the NAIA Region XI Golf Coach of the Year. Throckmorton will now take the team to it's first ever NAIA National Championship.
The 57th annual Men's NAIA National Golf Championship will be played May 13-16 at Indiana National Golf Club in Plymouth Indiana.
