Box Score The Campbellsville University Football team fought hard but lost a tough battle against 5th ranked Ohio Dominincan University 50-14 today at HIG Field on the CU Campus.

Campbellsville was outgained in yardage 409 to 208, despite dominating the time of possession 34:41 to 25:19.

Trailing 29 - 0 at halftime, Campbellsville scored with 14:55 remaining in the game when
Greg Fountain rumbled in on a three-yard run. The Tigers would tack on another touchdown when
Markus Ramsey caught a one-yard pass from
Ross Deaton with :11 to play in the game and
Detrick Briggs scored on the two point conversion.

Campbellsville managed 208 yards passing but just 114 on the ground as
Greg Fountain was limited to just 61 yards on 20 carries.Â
Ross Deaton was 16 of 36 with one interception on the day for 141 yards and freshman
Ed Wilkins was 8 of 14 for 67 yards but the Tigers couldn't overcome a potent and stingy ODU defense.

Campbellsville now has back to back road games the next two weeks, traveling to Lambuth next Saturday and West Virginia Tech in two weeks.  The game at Lambuth on Saturday begins at 1:00 p.m. eastern time.
