Box Score Campbellsville University controlled possession in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead, but Berea College managed to tie the men's soccer game Monday and hold the Tigers off in overtime for a 2-2 tie.

Emmanuel Nfor and Gustavo Valecillos each scored in the first half for Campbellsville with assists from Pontus Yngve and Roorigo Valenzuela, respectively.


Berea tied the game in the second half with goals from Ryan Fortenberry and Jacques Thomas.

James Clements had three saves for CU, while Chase Cole had six for Berea.

Monday's game, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, was moved to Berea College due to field conditions at CU.

Campbellsville (3-7-2) travels to the University of the Cumberlands on Thursday for a Mid-South Conference match beginning at 3 p.m.
