Box Score Campbellsville University men's soccer snapped a five game winless streak with a shutout at Brescia University, 6-0, Saturday.

The Tigers scored five goals in the first 13 minutes of the game, as they worked hard all week on attacking early.
"We've spent the last few days rebuilding the team and the players responded," CU head coach
Adam Preston said. "This is what we expected from the beginning of the season. We played as a team. If we can continue to do that, everyone will see what we are capable of."
Gustavo Valecillos and
Ramiro Sanchez each scored two goals, while
Emmanuel Nfor and
Roorigo Valenzuela each added one goal.
Marias Evans had an assist.
Sanchez's two goals made him the new leading goal scorer for CU this season with six goals, while Valecillos moved to third on the team with four goals.
Casey Clarke has five.
The win was the Tigers' first in October, as they have gone 0-2-2 in their last four outings. The last win was Sept. 28 in an 8-0 shutout of Pikeville College.
CU (4-7-2, 1-2 MSC) travels to the University of the Cumberlands on Monday for a 4 p.m. Mid-South Conference game. The game was originally scheduled for Oct. 15, but was postponed due to rain.
