Box Score Gustavo Valecillos and
Casey Clarke each scored goals to give Campbellsville University a 2-0 victory at Asbury College on Friday and move to 7-7-2 on the season.
The game, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, was moved to Friday due to heavy rain in the forecast for Saturday.
Valecillos scored the first goal in the 21st minute of the game, while Clarke added his goal in the 76th minute off an assist from
Emmanuel Nfor.
Asbury collected 14 shots in the game to Campbellsville's six, but the Tigers managed to hold off the Eagles, who tallied five shots on goal.
James Clements had all five saves.
Campbellsville (7-7-2) carries its four-game win streak to Georgetown College on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game to close the regular season.
