Campbellsville University moved to 3-1 in the Mid-South
Conference on Thursday with its first conference home victory of the season,
3-0, over Pikeville College (25-12, 25-7, 25-9).
The Lady Tigers managed to rotate in their entire bench, as they went on runs of six and seven points at a time in each set.
"It gave us a good chance to see everybody play and try a couple of
different lineups," CU head coach
Randy LeBleu said. "It's a good
conference win to get at home."
Louisville, Ky., natives Shannon Cahill and Samantha Jones continued to lead
the Lady Tigers' offense with 13 and 12 kills, respectively, while Brazilian
natives Lilian da Silva and Caroline Martin had 28 and 13 set assists,
respectively. Caitlin Dressing of Louisville led CU with 11 digs.
Campbellsville (12-3, 3-1) will host Lindsey Wilson College
in a Mid-South Conference match Monday at 7 p.m.
