Campbellsville University men's golf held on to its first-day lead to win the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament and Don Bishop Invitational on Tuesday at the Campbellsville Country Club.
Logan Griffin,
Josh Ratterman,
Cory Prewitt and
David Lee each finished in the Top 10 for Campbellsville, as Griffin led the way with a 146 and fourth-place finish. Ratterman followed with a 157 in eighth place, while Prewitt and Lee tied for ninth place with a two-day score of 148.
Lindenwood golfer Morgan Leigh led the field for the second day straight, shooting a 70 to win the individual honor in the Don Bishop Invitational with a two-day total of 138.
Campbellsville's
Scott Foster was 12th overall with a five-over par, two-day score, 149.
Drew Hayes shot 151 and
Will Anderson shot 152 for the Tigers, while
Andres Otero and
Tanner Mobley each shot 155.
Ryan Flanagan shot 157 and
Taylor Curtis shot 174 as individuals.
Campbellsville will conclude its fall schedule Oct. 5-6 when it travels
to Rome, Ga., for the Berry College Chick-fil-A Classic at Cosa Country Club.
