Lady Tigers blank Bryan, 2-0

Campbellsville University completed a weekend sweep on the road, shutting out Bryan College, 2-0, Saturday in Wilmore, Ky.

Freshman goalkeeper Sarah Akers picked up her second shutout in two days, as she had 10 saves.

The Lady Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the first half, as Megan Campbell scored on an assist from Whitney Hatfield. Cassie Yannelli, who had four shots on goal in the game, extended the lead in the second half with a goal assisted by Kelsey Mandel.

CU (2-1) will host Tennessee Wesleyan University (0-1-1) on Tuesday for its home opener.
