| By:
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – After guiding No. 23 Campbellsville University to the program's first Mid-South Conference regular-season championship, freshman Jessie Amphlett and coaches Trey Henderson and Sandra Steen earned three of the conference's major awards Wednesday.

Amphlett was selected as the MSC Freshman of the Year, Henderson was voted MSC Coach of the Year, and Steen earned MSC Assistant Coach of the Year. Conference coaches voted on the individual awards and all-conference teams and were not permitted to vote for their own players.

Campbellsville placed 11 players on the two all-conference teams, including six first-team selections. Sydney Hall, Wilma Gidlof, Amphlett, Fiona Jolly, Julia Ogren, and Marta Prieto earned first-team honors.

Anita Arnadottir, Laura Munoz, Ingiborg Sigurdadottir, Oddny Helgadottir, and Amelie Matheis were named to the second team.

Amphlett started 14 of Campbellsville's 15 regular-season matches in the midfield and recorded one assist. She helped the Tigers go 11-2-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play while allowing 0.87 goals per match and recording nine shutouts.

Henderson and Steen guided Campbellsville to 15 points in the conference table and a share of the regular-season championship with the University of the Cumberlands and Lindsey Wilson University. The Tigers secured the tournament's No. 1 seed through their plus-15 conference goal differential.

Campbellsville outscored its opponents 65-13 during the regular season, averaging 4.33 goals per match while holding advantages of 318-134 in shots and 171-66 in shots on goal. The Tigers finished unbeaten at Finley Stadium with a 7-0-1 record.

Prieto led Campbellsville with 14 goals, six assists, and 34 points. Ogren recorded 13 goals and four assists, while Jolly contributed 10 goals, two assists, and a team-high four match-winning goals.

Hall made 48 saves with a .787 save percentage and a 0.96 goals-against average across 1,213 minutes, 31 seconds. Gidlof appeared in 10 matches, contributing one goal and two assists.

Matheis finished the regular season with 11 goals and one assist, placing 25 of her 41 shots on frame. Helgadottir scored three goals, all match-winners, and added two assists.

Munoz recorded two goals and four assists, while Arnadottir added one goal and one assist. Sigurdadottir appeared in all 15 matches as part of a Campbellsville defense that limited opponents to 8.9 shots per contest.

Campbellsville begins its MSC Championship defense as the tournament's top seed after receiving a first-round bye. The Tigers will host fourth-seeded Cumberland University in the conference semifinals.
