Box Score Megan Campbell continued her consecutive game goal streak to cut Georgetown College's lead in half, but Campbellsville University was unable to even the score in a 2-1 loss Tuesday.
Campbell, a junior from Central City, Ky., scored her eighth goal in the last five games to put Campbellsville on the board in the 54th minute. The goal cut the Georgetown lead in half, 2-1.
Alessandra Jansen gave Georgetown a 2-0 lead by scoring both goals for the visiting Tigers in the 13th and 46th minutes.

Brandie Hagerman had five saves in the loss, while allowing her 10th and 11th goals of the season. Cathie Shaver had two saves and allowed one goal in the win for Georgetown (9-6, 4-2 MSC).
Campbellsville (9-6, 4-3 MSC) travels to Shawnee State University on Saturday, Oct. 23 for its final MSC regular season game at 1 p.m.
