Box Score Campbellsville University battled to a scoreless tie through the first 37 minutes of play Wednesday, but University of the Cumberlands added a goal in each half to leave town with a 2-0 Mid-South Conference win.
Renan Serafim put the Patriots on the board with 7:33 left on the clock before halftime. A few minutes later, Cumberlands threatened again, but the Patriot player was pulled down in the box by Campbellsville defender
Alen Karapandzic, resulting in a red card for Karapandzic and a penalty kick for the Patriots.

James Clements blocked the PK try by Thiago Andrade with 3:23 left in the half. The save was one of 15 for Clements in the game.
Campbellsville managed just two shots on goal in the game. Cumberlands added its second goal in the second half with 15 minutes left to play. Cedric Muteshit netted the insurance goal, which helped spark a rally of shots down the stretch by the Patriots. Clemments collected six saves during that time.
Campbellsville (8-3, 1-3 MSC) hosts Pikeville College on Saturday at 8 p.m.
