Corey Prewitt shot a 33 on his last nine holes to finish one
under-par with a 71 and lead Campbellsville University in the Rome News-Tribune
Invitation Monday in Rome, Ga. Prewitt sits tied for eighth place and is five
strokes out of the individual lead in the spring opener.
The Tigers shot a 305 as a team to sit tied for 13
th overall and are
four strokes from the Top 10.
Quinn Cole shot a 75 for the Tigers and is tied at 29th, while Logan
Griffin shot 78, followed by Scott Foster's 81 and an 83 from David Lee.

Methodist College made the excitement for the day, sinking a hole-in-one on the
10th hole: a 341-yard, par-4.
Filip Timmerman shot 66 to lead all golfers and put John A. Logan Community
College in front as a team with a two under-par score of 286.
The tournament will conclude Tuesday.
