Lady Tiger golfers top off second straight runner-up finish

Lady Tiger golfers won their second runner-up trophy in two days with a second-place finish in the eight-team field of the Old Bridge Golf Invitational, hosted Saturday by Centre College in Danville, Ky..

Centre, which plays in NCAA Division III, won the event by a stroke over Campbellsville, 328-329.



Three Campbellsville golfers were named to the All-Tournament Team: Lindsay Jones, sophomore, Standford, Ky.; Lauren Goodin, freshman, Columbia, Ky.; and Katie White, freshman, Prince Edward Island.

Campbellsville competed with two teams. Goodin's 78 led Team "A", followed by White, 81; Kaela Smith, 84; Shelly Minix, 86; and Amy Cline, 90.

Team "B" was led by Jones' 81, followed by McLane Farr, 84; Jordan Johnson, 86; Hannah Thompson, 98; and Joy Carter, 99.

The Lady Tigers will end their spring schedule with the Mid-South Conference Championship April 26-27 at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky.
