Katie White fired a second-round 79 and improved from 10th to seventh place at the St. Catharine College Fall Invitational at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood. White shot 164 (85-79).
White's round was the best of the day for any Lady Tiger, and only one off the low for the day, as the team held on to third place out of nine teams. University of the Cumberlands won the tournament by beating Lindsey Wilson by five strokes.
Kayla Kincer finished in 14th place at 164 (85-89);
Lauren Goodin, 17th, 174 (85-89); and Meleigha Pollock and Lindsey Jones-Harris in a tie for 19th, 191. Pollock shot 85-96 and Jones-Harris 92-89.
McLane Farr, playing as an individual, shot 183 (88-95) and
Joy Carter a 194 (96-98).
Cumberland's Laura Beth Harris earned medalist honors with a 146 (68-78). Both Cumberlands and Lindsey Wilson placed four golfers in the top 10.
