Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- After out shooting the No. 1 team in the nation nearly 2:1, Campbellsville University men's soccer fell short to Lindsey Wilson College, 2-1, Tuesday night at Finley Stadium.
The Blue Raiders broke a 1-1 tie in the 75
th minute with a shot by Chris Williams, his fifth goal in the Blue Raiders last two games combined. CU had seven shots in the final 15 minutes, but could not neutralize the score.

The Blue Raiders scored first in the 20th minute on a set piece. Tom Moody sent a corner kick from the right corner to the left side of the net, where Mat Luak played a ball to Lebogang Moloto for the Blue Raiders' goal.
Ramiro Sanchez answered in the 50th minute from the left side of the net, striking a goal past a diving LWC keeper Yuta Nomura into the upper right part of the net.
Casey Clarke recorded an assist on the play.
Campbellsville collected 16 shots in the game, placing four on target, while the Tigers held Lindsey Wilson to nine shots and only two on goal. Tiger goalkeeper
Kyle Thomas did not record a save in the loss, while Nomuro had three.
The loss ends the Tigers' regular season at 7-9-2 and eliminates them from National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) postseason play.
