Box Score CAMPBELLSVILE, Ky. -- Campbelsville University's hope for a share of the Mid-South Conference title were shattered in the first half Tuesday, as No. 1 Lindsey Wilson College recorded a 6-0 victory at Finley Stadium. All of the Blue Raiders goals came in the first 42 minutes of the game.
Goals came from five different Blue Raiders: Ida Gregersen, Hanna Jonsson, Mia Persson, Katarina Simic and Patricia Nielsen. LWC also benefited from an own goal by Lady Tiger defender
Shelby Pfeiffer in the 30
th minute.
Campbellsville's only shot was a free kick by
Bailey McDonough in the 53rd minute. Jordan Morrison stopped the shot for her only save of the match. Morrison and Ester Dam Simonsen combined for the shutout, with Morrison playing the first 75 minutes.
Hagerman collected 11 saves on the night, including five in the second half.
Savanna Stephens blocked two LWC shots.
Tuesday was also Senior Night for
Megan Campbell,
Leslie Carver and
Megan Miller.
The Lady Tigers (12-5) will travel to Trevecca Nazarene University for their final regular season match Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
