LONDON, Ky. -- Positioning didn't change Friday, as Campbellsville University women's golf finished third at the University of the Cumberlands' SEKI Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Course. The Lady Tigers shot 332 on the second day with only one stroke separating CU from Cumberlands and tournament leader Lindsey Wilson.
For the tournament, Campbellsville shot 675, 24 strokes behind Lindsey Wilson's lead 651. Cumberlands shot 656 to finish third. Kentucky Wesleyan and Union College tied for fourth with a two-day total of 759.
Katie White held on to her sixth-place post with a two day score of 164 after shooting 81-83 in the two rounds.
Kaela Smith (88-83),
Lauren Goodin (90-83) and
McLane Farr (91-83) each shot 83 on Friday to round out CU's top scores for the day.
Amy Cline tied with Farr for 12th-place individually after shooting 84-90 in the two rounds. Lindsey Jones-Harris shot 87-92 to finish 18th.
Campbellsville will continue its spring schedule April 4-5 in Milligan College's Don and Clarinda Jeans Invite at Elizabethton Golf Course in Elizabethton, Tenn.
