Redshirt junior quarterback Will Warf made his first appearance of the season for the Tigers as the starting quarterback and led the Tigers to nearly 600 yards of total offense. Warf had a career-high 379 yards passing in his 2011 debut and three touchdowns, while Wayne Coffee ran for more than 200 yards and three scores.

Campbellsville had a slow start though, spotting the Blue Raiders two points on the first play of the game as a snap sailed over Warf's head and out the back of the end zone. A fumble inside the CU 30 on the Tigers' next possession led to a 27-yard field goal for LWC kicker Mark Corbett and a quick 5-0 Blue Raider lead.

But while the Tigers were down, they were far from being out of the game.

Campbellsville marched the ball 86 yards in five plays to answer Corbett's field goal with its first touchdown.

A block in the back penalty pushed the Tigers back for the second time on a kickoff, but Warf found Stan Warrenhuffman on a 23-yard pass to open up the field. Coffee followed with a 24-yard run to move the Tigers across midfield for the first time. The drive was later capped when Warf found Demytreus Gipson on an 18-yard touchdown pass down the LWC sideline. A two-point pass was complete to Warrenhuffman to give the Tigers their first lead, 8-5.

Before the first quarter was out, Warf found Warrenhuffman again on a 28-yard touchdown pass. David Hon's extra point missed to the left, as the Tigers took a 14-5 lead after 15 minutes of play.

Early in the second quarter, Warf worked another long Tiger drive. Demetric Ray caught a 43-yard bomb on his back as he fell to turf at the Blue Raider 32. Warf followed the play with a 30-yard pass to Bobby Leonard to set up a 2-yard touchdown run by Coffee. It was the first of three scores for the senior from Franklin, Tenn.

Lindsey Wilson found the end zone for the first time in the game with 5:23 left before halftime on a 1-yard run by Dakota Brown after a pass interference call in the end zone against Brandon Brown gave the Blue Raiders first-and-goal.

The Tigers answered with just over a minute remaining, as Warf hit the 300-yard passing mark for the first time in his career on a 46-yard touchdown pass to Ray, who finished the night with a career-high 145 yards on five catches.

Early in the second half, Lindsey Wilson's Josh Johnson picked off a Warf pass in the end zone and the Blue Raiders went on to score its second touchdown of the game on a 12-yard pass to Shannon Coofer from Brandon Cresap, to pull within two scores, 28-19.

Campbellsville's defense scored back-to-back interceptions for a touchdown in the final three minutes of the third quarter. Leon Melvin had the first one, returning the pick 50 yards for his first collegiate touchdown, while Dwight Houston had the next one for about 25 yards - his first career interception. With a pair of David Hon extra points, Campbellsville led 42-19 at the end of three quarters.

Coffee went over the top for a score early in the fourth quarter and Cresap responded with a 60-yard touchdown pass to Matt Powers for the Blue Raiders' final score.

Coffee capped the Tigers' scoring with a 75-yard touchdown run with 10:44 left to play.

The Tigers move to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in the Mid-South Conference East Division as they prepare to return home Saturday, Oct. 1 to host the University of Pikeville in an MSC East game at Finley Stadium. Kickoff is 1:30 p.m. ET.
