Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. - The Lady Tigers' four-game shutout streak came to an end Thursday as Campbellsville University fell 2-0 at Georgetown College in a Mid-South Conference women's soccer match.
Campbellsville's defense was put to work as Georgetown collected 31 shots in the game, including 16 on goal. CU goalkeeper Brandie Hagerman, named the MSC Defender of the Week the past two weeks, stopped 14 of the GC Tiger attempts.
Jessica Ralph led CU with seven of the Lady Tigers' 13 shots, while Cassie Yannelli placed two of her three shots on goal. Georgetown keeper Cathie Shaver had six saves in the win.
Thursday was the first road trip in nearly a month for Campbellsville, which played seven of its first eight games of the season at home in Finley Stadium.
