Box Score

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Muddy conditions were no stop for Campbellsville University men's soccer Saturday, as the Tigers extended their undefeated streak to six games, beating the University of Pikeville, 3-0.

With the win, Campbellsville (9-3-1) clinches a winning record for the regular season after finishing 8-10-2 last season.

"It was a huge win, getting us our ninth of the season," said CU head coach Adam Preston. "We had most of the possessions but were missing a finishing touch overall."

Trevor Jarvis and John Kennedy each scored their third goals of the season for Campbellsville, while Roraigh Yearwood added his eighth. Nathan Sahota and Pontus Yngve had assists.

It was the third shutout in the past six games for CU goalkeeper Max Malachiyev.

CU will take the week off before hosting Shawnee State University for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 13. Start time is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, following the Lady Tigers game against Shawnee State at 6 p.m.
