PERRY PARK, Ky. - The Lady Tigers shot 335 in the first round Saturday and improved to 329 on Sunday, but was unable to gain ground in the tournament.
Katie White led Campbellsville with an average of 78.5 per round, shooting 78 and 79 to finish 13 over par in a tie for 25
th place. She was the only Lady Tiger to finish in the Top 50 of the 120-player tournament.
McLane Farr finished 24 over par with a two-round score of 168 (86, 82), while Caitlin Wilkerson was a stroke back at 169 (87, 82). The two finished in 64
th- and 72
nd- place, respectively. Meleigha Pollock was fourth for CU with rounds of 84 and 86, while
Kayla Kincer shot 90 and 87.
Joy Carter also competed for CU, shooting 96 and 101.
University of Indianapolis won the tournament, led by medalist Amy Thompson, who shot 71 and 74 to finish one over par. Indy placed three others in the Top 6 for a team score of 597. Campbellsville's two-day total was 664.
The Lady Tigers will return to action Saturday, March 31 in the Danville College Invitational at the Danville Country Club.
