ROME, Ga. - In their first outing of the spring, Campbellsville
University's women's golf stands in sixth place at the Rome News-Tribune
Invitational, hosted by Berry College at the Coosa Country Club.
Junior
Katie White led the Lady Tigers with an 81 (42-39), good for a 13th place tie with University of the Cumberland's Laura Beth Harris.
"It was a promising start to the season," said Coach Lindsay Hines. "Our scores don't accurately reflect how well we hit the ball today."

Caitlyn Wilkerson, 85 (46-39); Meleigha Pollock, 87 (46-41; McLean Farr, 87 (45-42); and
Kayla Kincer, 87 (44-43).
Lee University leads the tourney at 309.
The second round will be played tomorrow.
"We had good weather and great competition," Hines continued. "Just needed a few more putts to fall."
