Lady Tigers shut out Bryan College, 5-0

DAYTON, Tenn. -- The Campbellsville University Lady Tiger soccer team added another win in their column Friday with a 5-0 shutout at Bryan College. The squad is now 2-1 on the season.

 


CU fired 24 shots throughout the course of the game, while Bryan only managed four.
 

All five goals came in the first half. Senior midfielder, Cassie Yannelli, was the first to find net in the ninth minute, with the assist from senior forward, Kelsey Mandel. Jessica Ralph quickly followed and achieved two goals of her own within eight minutes. She now has 25 for her career as she climbs up the Lady Tigers' all-time scoring list, only one goal behind Mandel. 

Rachel Veatch, a freshman forward from Bowling Green, Ky., scored in the 32nd minute for her first career goal. The assist came from Yannelli, who would respond with another goal of her own in the 44th minute. 

Brandie Hagerman had two saves in goal for her second consecutive shutout of the season.
