Lady Tigers fourth at Maywood on Day 1

BARDSTOWN, Ky. – Campbellsville University women's golf sits in fourth place Monday after Day 1 of the St. Catharine Fall Invite at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.





The Lady Tigers combined to shoot 332 as a team, one stroke behind Lindsey Wilson College (331) . University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) leads all teams with a 308, led by the top two individuals: Bri-Anne Tokariwski and Shannon Bishop.

Madonna University is in second place with a 320.

Cassdiy Scantland led CU's all-freshman lineup with a 79 to sit in a tie for fourth-place individually. Anna-Marie Hyatt shot a 38 on the back nine to improve to 83 on the day, while Olivia Parrott was close behind with an 84. Grace Gupton shot 86 and Ashley Goodin shot 100.

Hyatt's three birdies on the day leads all players in the tournament. She is also the only player to shoot below par (-2) on Par 5 holes for the first round.

Tournament action will conclude Tuesday.
