PULASKI, Tenn. – Day one of the 2013 softball season resulted in a split for Campbellsville University in the Martin Methodist College Meltdown. The Lady Tigers rallied from a 3-0 hole to top No. 13 Reinhardt University in the season opener but dropped game two, 3-1, to Freed-Hardeman University.

CU had two on with no outs in the sixth, but was unable to push across a run.

Cousar posted the complete-game win for the Lions, allowing only one run on four hits. She walked five and struck out 10.
