GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Katie White was named to the All-Tournament Team for the third straight tournament Tuesday, as her fifth-place finish helped lead Campbelllsville University women's golf to a fourth-place finish at the Bluegrass Spring Classic.
The senior shot 13-over par in the 36-hole, two-day tournament at Cherry Blossom Golf Club. White was in contention for the lead, on pace to shoot a 75 on the first day, but a 10 on hole No. 17 led her to a 79 in the round. She shot 78 Tuesday.
Following White was Chaitly Wilkerson and Kayla Kincer, who shot 176 (91-85) and 177 (88-89), respectively. Meleigha Pollock was the Lady Tigers' fourth score at 185 (89-96). Annie Shakat also competed for CU shooting 198 and 105 in her two rounds.
Campbellsville's team score of 695 was fourth behind the University of the Cumberlands (627), Cumberland University (654) and Indiana Tech (678).
Cumberland University led the tournament after Monday's round by one stroke, but added 22 strokes to its score Tuesday, while the Patriots shot a low round of 310, 12 over par.
