BARDSTOWN, Ky. — CU's Katie White fired a first-round 78 (39-39) at the MSC Spring Tournament at the Bardstown Country Club at Maywood today and sits three shots out of first place and in a tie for seventh overall.

White's teammates managed a 339 total, good for fourth place out of seven teams and 34 strokes behind tournament leader — the University of the Cumberlands.

Meleigha Pollock shot 80 (41-39), followed by Kayla Kincer 88 (42-46), Caitlyn Wilkerson 93 (45-48) and Annie Shakat 109 (54-55).

Cumberlands' 305 total leads the tourney with five players shooting in the 70s — led by Taylor Gillis' 75. The three-over round ties her for first overall with Lindsey Wilson's Kaitlin Allan.

Lindsey trails Cumberlands by nine strokes and Cumberland University, in third, trails by 13.

Team Totals: University of the Cumberlands 305, Lindsey Wilson 314, Cumberland University 318, Campbellsville 339, Georgetown 357, Pikeville 363 and St. Catharine 397. UVa. -Wise had three players competing as individuals.
