Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Ryan Foster netted two first half goals to help lead Campbellsville University past Georgetown College, 3-1, Wednesday night at Toyota Stadium and iHigh Field.

Foster found the net early, scoring in the 19th minute off an assist by Lewis Fyfe and added a second goal in the 41st minute. Georgetown cut the scorer in half, 2-1, when Hunter Conner converted a Ryan Wahtley pass with 1:31 remaining in the first half.
Campbellsville allowed only five shots in the game, including the goal and one save for CU goalkeeper Max Malachiyev. Offensively, the Tigers placed 50 percent of their shots (9-of-18) on target.
Three-time Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Roraigh Yearwood added an insurance goal for CU in the 67th minute.
The win puts the Tigers at 2-1 in the Mid-South Conference, 8-1 overall.
"It's always good to get a conference win. These games are never easy," said Adam Preston, CU men's soccer head coach. "That being said, we need to continue to improve to reach our goals."
Campbellsville will return to action Saturday, Sept. 28 in a MSC game at Bluefield College in Bluefield, Va. Start time is 4 p.m. ET.
