Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Campbellsville University scored early and held off the host team to win the night cap of the Bethel College Classic, 1-0, Friday.

Both teams were quick to find strong shots offensively, as Kevon Farquharson fired a shot in the fifth minute, which was saved by Bethel goalkeeper Aaron Hunter and Max Malachiyev snagged a shot by Bethel's Zach McCoy in the ninth minute.
In the 13th minute of play, Farquharson found Roraigh Yearwood for the go-ahead goal, 1-0, which ended up being the only shot to find the net among a combined 16 shots on goal between the two National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and NAIA programs.
Following a shot in the 17th minute by Yearwood, Bethel managed to slow the Tigers' attack, while the Pilots' tries on offense increased. Bethel settled five shots on goal in the first half. Four were stopped by Malachiyev and one was credited as a team save.
Both teams were evenly matched in the second half with nine shots, including four on goal, for each. Eurodger Bargblor, Jr., led CU with five shots, two on goal, in the game.
Malachiyev finished the night with eight saves, while Hunter had five for Bethel (1-4).
The win gives the Tigers a 3-0 start for the third time in the last four seasons.

Campbellsville returns to action Saturday, taking on Taylor University (Ind.) in the Bethel College Classic at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
