PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Cassidy Scantland fired a second-round 77 today, leapfrogging her up the leader board nine spots, as Campbellsville competed in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) at The Hombre Golf Club.

 Not all of Scantland's teammates weren't as fortunate, however.

The Lady Tigers added a round-two total of 328 to their opening round 332 (660) and maintained fifth place in the nine-team field.

Scantland made six consecutive pars on her opening nine, before closing with a birdie, bogey and par. Her back nine began with bogeys on two of the first three holes, and she was looking at possibly cracking the top 10 until a triple bogey on her last hole sabotaged her round. Scantland sits in a tie for 12^th place at 161 after two rounds.

Anna Marie Hyatt strung together seven straight pars on her inward nine after a front-side 42 to close with a 79 (42-37). She is in a tie for 15th place with a two-day total of 162.

Hyatt started her round with a triple bogey, but added a birdie on the par-4 12^th.

The efforts by Scantland and Hyatt allowed CU to shoot four shots better on Day 2 — 332-328.

Ashley Goodin shot an 83 (41-42) for a two-day 164 total, good for 20^th. Rachel Carter had her second consecutive 89 (45-44). Her 178 total is good enough for 29th place. Olivia Parrott shot 102, for a 186 total and 31^st place.

Erin Barrington of Dallas Baptist leads the tournament with a four-over-par total of 147 after a second round 73. She leads Oklahoma Christian's Anna Arrese Cortadellas by three shots.

Day 3 tee times for the Lady Tigers begin at 9:15 thru 9:51ET.
