PANAMA CITY, Fla.—The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced its 2015 men's golf awards at last night's banquet. Twenty-nine individuals were named NCCAA scholar-athlete and Campbellsville led the way with seven honorees.
All five seniors on the team received scholar-athlete honors - Wade Cave, Jared Fannin, Cody Goodwin, Tanner Hall and Matthew Razor. Also, Â juniors John Eastridge and Justin Hazel were added to the list.
To be named NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, the individuals need to be a junior in the classroom and have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.40.
Also, the NCCAA awarded Drew Posada, a senior from Oklahoma Baptist University, with the biggest award of the night. Posada received the NCCAA Game Plan 4 Life Character Award which recognizes academic excellence, athletic achievement and Christian service and conduct.
