Lady Tigers hold down second place at Fall Roundup

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Campbellsville placed three players in the Top 10 on Day 1 of the MSC Fall Roundup today at the Bowling Green Country Club and the Lady Tigers sit in second place with an opening-round 318.

CU trails the University of the Cumberlands by 13 strokes, but is 17 shots clear of third place Lindsey Wilson College.

Greensburg, Ky. junior Cassidy Scantland is a shot out of first place after an opening round 76. She trails Cumberlands' Kaitlyn Riley and Rachel Pingleton, both of whom shot 75.

Kylie Withrow shot a 79, good for a sixth place tie, and Anna-Marie Hyatt is in a tie for eighth after an 80. Olivia Parrott closed out the scoring with an 83 and a tie for 13th. Playing as an individual, Ashley Goodin carded an 84 and a tie for 15th.  Michaela Jarman is in 45th place after a 93.

TEAM SCORES: Cumberlands (Ky.) 305, Campbellsville 318, Lindsey Wilson 335, Cumberland (Tenn) 336, Pikeville 338, Union College 343, Northwestern (Ohio) 348, Asbury 357, Georgetown 372, St. Catharine 430.

Day 2 gets under way Tuesday, Oct. 27 with a shotgun start at 10 ET.
