McKENZIE, Tenn. — Campbellsville just kept building on a 15-5 run it constructed early in the first quarter and went on to defeat Harris-Stowe 94-66 in the 3rd Annual Chamber Classic tonight at Bethel University.

Emily Fox led the Lady Tigers with 16 points, hitting 4-of-9 from behind the arc. She received double-figure scoring support from reserves Lexxus Graham and Lauren Turner who had 11 points apiece. Turner added four steals to tie Stowe's Cierra Stancill for game high honors.
No one played more than 23 minutes for CU. Lindsey Burd and Kristen Jacob led the team to a 48-40 edge on the boards. Burd pulled down eight rebounds and Jacob six.
Campbellsville pushed out to a 28-16 first-quarter lead and watched that lead dwindle to 28-22 before going on another 15-5 run and a 44-35 lead at the intermission.
The Lady Tigers hit 48 percent from the field, 8-of-23 from 3 and 18-of-35 from the free throw line.
The Lady Tigers (1-0) are back on the court again tomorrow (Oct. 31) when they meet Evangel at 2:30 in the 3rd Annual Chamber Classic hosted by Bethel University.
