BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Lady Tiger volleyball was unable to pull out their second consecutive upset in the Mid-South Conference tournament, falling to No. 2 Lindsey Wilson College in straight sets.
Top-seeded Lindsey Wilson (32-3) is now on a 25-match win streak and moves on to tomorrow's MSC tournament championship match with two-seed Georgetown College (28-5) after beating CU 25-21, 25-13, 25-10.
Campbellsville's season concludes with an overall record of 19-15.

Lindsey Wilson jumped out midway through the first set, 19-9, but Campbellsville made a late rally. The Lady Tigers were sparked with consecutive aces by Annija Abolina, then just a few rallies later, Brooklyn Bowling recorded two as well and cut the lead to four, 23-19. Â
But the Lady Tigers dug themselves too deep of a hole to work out of, falling 25-21.
Campbellsville had a brief lead in set two, 4-3, but the Blue Raiders went on a 10-2 run. LWC finished set two with 13 kills compared to three errors and ran away with the lead. The Lady Tigers finished with seven kills and six errors in the second set.
Set three was once again all Lindsey Wilson, as the Blue Raiders got better as the match went on. LWC started on a 15-5 run and had too much fire power for Campbellsville down the stretch. They finished with 18 kills in the third compared to six for Campbellsville.
Overall, senior Jana Kortas played her final match as a Lady Tiger and finished with seven kills. She was followed with six kills a piece from Mierla Vasconselos and Mario Coelho.
As a team, the Blue Raiders doubled up Campbellsville in kills – 46-23. Carol Siqueira and Ragni Knudson led LWC with 17 and 13 kills, respectively.
Inoa Fields recorded 21 assists for CU and Makenzie Montano led the Blue Raiders with 35.Â
