LEBANON, Tenn. — Campbellsville retook a five-point lead, 73-68, with 2:04 remaining but Cumberland scored the final seven points and served the Tigers their second consecutive Mid-South Conference loss, 75-73.

Zach Perry sparked Campbellsville (8-4, 1-3 MSC) with two of his career-high six 3-pointers in a 23-second span and Campbellsville regained its first lead, 58-57, for the first time since the 18:04 mark in the first half.
Cumberland (6-7, 1-3 MSC) regained the lead, 61-58 but Sekou Harris drained his only 3-pointer and knotted the game at 61 with 7:11 left. Elliott Young knocked down two free throws just 30 seconds later and gave the Tigers a 63-61 lead – a lead it would not relinquish until two seconds on the clock.
The Tigers worked their lead to as large as five points three times – 66-61, 69-64 and 73-68, but Cumberland would go on a 7-0 run late.
Cumberland tied the game at 73 with the third 3-pointer from Mark Brown. Campbellsville had two chances late – one to take the lead and one to tie – in its last two possessions. In the ensuing possession, the Tigers worked the shot clock down to four seconds before coach Keith Adkins called a timeout.
Out of the break, Hagen Tyler missed a 3-pointer to take the lead from the right corner and Cumberland's Dalaryn Dodd hit Will Shelton on a run-out layup while being fouled by Perry. Shelton missed the free throw and Campbellsville called a quick timeout to stop the clock, trailing 75-73.
Out of the timeout, Dii'jon Allen-Jordan hit Elliott Young on the inbounds pass and Adkins called another timeout to set up a final shot with 1.2 seconds left. But Tyler missed a fade-away jumper in the left corner to seal the Cumberland win.
Campbellsville as a team knocked down 11-of-33 (33 percent) from beyond the 3-point line compared to 5-of-13 (38 percent) for Cumberland. The Bulldogs outshot the Tigers by 15 percentage points, 46 percent to 31 percent from the floor - with Campbellsville only hitting 11 2-point field goals.
Perry finished with a career-high 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Rob Robinson followed with 12 points on 4-of-7 overall and 2-of-5 form deep. Allen-Jordan led all players with 14 rebounds but was scoreless from the floor, missing all nine shots. He did hit 4-of-6 free throws for four points.
Cumberland had four players in double figures, led by Marquel Hickerson's 18. Shelton finished with 15 points and then was followed by Brown's and Craig's 12.
