BOX SCORE

Campbellsville started its very first possession of the game with three offensive rebounds and Chelsea Craig was able to finally put CU up 2-0 off her own board. That is exactly how the afternoon would go for the Lady Tigers.

At one point in the first five minutes of the game, Campbellsville had 10 of the first 11 rebounds and six of those were on the offensive glass. CU recorded its season high with 54 rebounds while holding the Lady Patriots to 24. Twenty-one of the 54 came off the offensive glass.

St. Catharine was shorthanded today playing without second leading scorer Sasha Ruiz-Lopez. But the way this one went, her 10.1 points per game average would not have made a difference. CU also held SCC's leading scorer Heather Sandlin to nine points – all in the second half.

The Lady Tigers were able to take advantage of their height and scored 42 points in the paint compared to SCC's eight. CU also had 15 second-chance points.

Leading 20-15 with 7:27, Craig scored five-straight to spark a 20-8 run for CU to finish the first half. Campbellsville led 40-24 at intermission.

Caroline Owen found her stroke in the first half, knocking down two 3s and Madison Clements followed her lead with another triple. Owen sparked CU on a 9-2 run with two more 3s in the opening minutes of the second half. She finished with a team-high 12 points, hitting 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Owen also dished out three assists in 18 minutes of play.

CU went on a 21-4 run which capped by Emily Fox's first 3, pushing the Lady Tigers up 61-29. Since joining the Lady Tigers at Christmas break, Fox has hit 25-of-49 (51 percent) from beyond the arc and averages 2.5 triples a game to lead the Lady Tigers.

Campbellsville held St. Catharine to 17 second half points and scored 43 itself. SCC struggled from the floor hitting only 23 percent (12-of-52) and hit only four baskets in the second half.

The Lady Tigers hit 46.2 percent (31-of-67) from the floor and 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from behind the 3-point line.

All 15 Lady Tigers saw action today with each playing at least four-plus minutes. CU scored 36 points off the bench led by Lindey Young's 10. Kristen Jacob also dished out a career-high four assists off the bench.

Craig scored 11 points and recorded six rebounds. Young also finished with six boards.
