COLUMBIA, Ky.- Two days of consistency led the Campbellsville University men to an eighth place finish and a two day total of 580 (289-291) at the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Raider Classic.

Sophomore, Tyler Harrod, led the way for the Tigers with a 70 in each round. His play on the par fives propelled him to a tie for fifth, as he played them at four-under par for the weekend.
Adding to the consistent play was James Higgins who shot a 72 for a 143 total and put him in a tie for 14th. Higgins led the Tigers with nine birdies for the two days.
Wrapping up the scoring for the Tigers was senior Jarrod Fannin who shot a 73 today for a two day total of 148; Robert Johnson (73-76); and Andrew Scalos (77-77) rounded out the Tigers.
Individual John Eastridge improved his second round by three, shooting a 77 for a two day total of 157.
"We did well today. I am very pleased with the way they played, said coach Jim Ward. Scalos did great in his first tournament of his career. He handled his nerves very well."
In the team race, Dalton State (Ga.) shot 277 today to top the host, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), by six strokes.

Sean Elliot of Dalton State was individual medalist, shooting 68 today for a two day total of 132.
The Tigers are back on the course Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21-22 at the Deer Park Classic in Oglesby, Ill. at Deer Park CC.
