NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Lady Tigers picked up their 15th win of the season tonight at Fisk University, 78-42.
Campbellsville (15-3, 3-1 MSC) broke open a close game with a 17-4 run in the second quarter. CU pulled away from its 16-13 first-quarter lead to balloon that score to 33-17 with just over three minutes remaining in the half.
By the time the dust had settled, Fisk only had one more point in the stanza and the Lady Tigers led at intermission, 42-18.
Abby Miller put together a good first half to lead CU with 13 points. Lindsey Burd and Emily Fox had six apiece.
In the second half, Campbellsville continued its onslaught with a 14-point third quarter and led after 30 minutes of play, 56-25.
There were no final game stats made available at the end of the game.
The Lady Tigers get back into conference play Thursday, Jan. 14 when they host the University of the Cumberlands at 6 p.m. in the Powell Athletic Center.
