INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Campbellsville women's bowling competed this past weekend in a tough Columbia Western Shootout, as the Lady Tigers put up a strong Day 2 to lead them into a sixth place finish.

Bailey James finishing in 15
th with scores of 189, 182 ,210, 190, 173, and 210 for an overall of 1,154.
Katlyn Hoeh and
Keysha Martin also put up big numbers finishing in 30
th and 38
th, respectively, with a total pin fall of 1,106 and 1,072.
Going into Sunday was a climb for the Lady Tigers as they were sitting in eighth place. CU put up some big numbers in Baker play with scores of 725, 813, 728, and 722 to push them past Notre Dame College and Marian University.
CU finished with an overall score of 8,373, which was good enough for sixth place. University of St. Francis (Ill.) scored 8,804 pins to run away with the victory. Rayissa Amon (1,256) from Mount Aloysius College out-lasted St. Ambrose University's Katie Maher (1,250) by six pins to win the title.
The Lady Tigers will look to keep the ball rolling on October 15-16 in Dayton, Ohio for the University of Pikeville Orange and Black Classic.
