CU hosts #10 Lindsey Wilson in Battle of Highway 55 on Saturday

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The Battle of Highway 55 returns to Finley Stadium and Citizens Bank Field on Saturday, as the Fighting Tigers are hosting No. 10 Lindsey Wilson College.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET and Jordan Alves will start Campbellsville's coverage with the Tiger Tailgate Show at 1 p.m. on the Campbellsville University Sports Network - 88.7 The Tiger, Comcast Channel 10 (WLCU-TV) and on www.CampbellsvilleTigers.com. Jim Freeman and Matt Payton will have the call for their 40th-game working alongside together in the booth.

  • Quarterback Hunter Brown has led another high-power offense for Campbellsville. Brown is 221-for-368 passing with 28 touchdowns to his credit. He has thrown over 300 yards three times, 400 yards once, 500 yards once and 600 yards once.
  • Brown ranks No. 1 in the NAIA in passing yards per game (408.7) - a mark that will shatter the single- season record set by Jacob Russell in 2015 at 334.2.
  • For the second-straight season, WR Tyus Alcorn has led CU's receiving attack. He ranks No. 7 in the NAIA with 105.7 yards per game and No. 11 in total yards (740). He is looking to become the fourth CU receiver to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in a season.
  • Two weeks ago vs. Bethel, Alcorn broke the career-mark for receiving touchdowns (30). He now has 32.
