CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. —
Crystal Land led Campbellsville women's bowling over the weekend with a pair of Top 20 finishes, while the Lady Tigers competed in two tournaments.
Campbellsville placed third out of 15 teams in the Louisville Collegiate Classic on Saturday and then turned around to finish sixth at the Thomas Burris Memorial Invitatational.

Bailey James and Land led the way for the Lady Tigers in a very high scoring tournament. James finished sixth overall with a score of 1,030, while Land followed her in seventh place with 1,027.
Rounding out the Top 25 were sisters Kylah and
Keysha Martin finishing in 16
th and 22
nd, respectively, shooting 981 and 914.
Going into baker play, CU was in first place by 10 pins overall. After the first set of four games the women shot 805, but it wasn't not good enough to hold the lead dropping them to third. The women ended up shooting 774 and 747 in the next two sets that earned them a third place finish.
The overall score for CU was 7,162, while Lindenwood-Belleville University won the tournament with a score of 7,231.

Land led the way on Sunday finishing in 17
th place with a pin total of 932. Finishing right behind her with 927 pins was
Katlyn Hoeh, which was good for 18
th place.
Other notable players on the day for the Lady Tigers were
Candace Gibson and
Bailey James finishing in 29
th and 34
th place, respectively, shooting 866 and 846 during single-game play.
Going into bakers Campbellsville sat in 7
th place overall. The first two sets of four games had scores of 677 and 667 before the Lady Tigers ended up coming back in the third and final set to shoot an 810. That happened to be the highest score for the final four games of the tournament overall.
The women would eventually finish in sixth place overall with a score of 6,573, while Mid-South Conference foe, University of Pikeville, won the team title with a score of 7,549.
Lady Tiger bowling will look to continue their season at The Columbia Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Indiana this weekend starting on Saturday, Oct. 8.
