CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — After more than a week off, Lady Tiger basketball returns to the hardwood tonight, Monday, Nov. 21, for the home opener of the 2016-17 schedule.
No. 4 Campbellsville, which has won seven-straight home openers, hosts No. 21 Talladega at 7 p.m. ET. Fans can tune in on the CU Sports Network, as
Jay Turner and
Matt Payton will have the radio and TV call starting at 6:45.
Campbellsville is coming off a big win over Bluefield State College on Saturday, Nov. 12, 108-41. The Lady Tigers also boast a perfect 4-0 record coming into tonight's contest.
Talladega is 6-3 on the season and has won three of its last four games. The Lady Tigers and Tornados met in Talladega, Ala. on Nov. 7 with Campbellsville coming from behind to pull out a 73-72 win.
Madison Clements led CU with 19 points with five of those coming in the final 20 seconds. Clements buried a 3-pointer with six seconds remaining to tie the game at 71 and then hit a runner in the lane with three clicks left to put the Lady Tigers on top for good.
LeeAnn Grider finished with 11 points and dished out a game-high seven assists. For Talladega, Jasmine Stackhouse, Sydnee Clark and Tasheba Henry led all scoring with 12 points, while Ashley Burchfield accounted for 11 points off the bench.

LeeAnn Grider ranks No. 4 with 6.7 assists per game and No. 5 with an assist/turnover ratio of 6.7. ?

Madison Clements has scored in double figures every game this year and leads CU by averaging 16.5 points per game. She was the MSC Player of the Week last week. ?
• After being inserted into the starting lineup the second game of the season, Q. Pradas averages 10 points per game and leads the team with 5.3 rebounds per game.
• Campbellsville travels to the Jackson Rotary Champions Classic on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 25-26.
