CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — With three games left in the regular season and Campbellsville bringing in a four-games losing streak, the Tigers were in desperation mode for a chance to play in the postseason. Well, Campbellsville made a statement tonight and came back from 23 points down in the second half to shock Lindsey Wilson College, 73-59.

Trailing by 23 points (43-20) with 18:46 remaining, Campbellsville (19-9, 6-8 MSC) finished the game on a 53-16 run and blistered the nets in the second half hitting 72 percent (18-of-25). The 23-point comeback matches the largest of the season as the Tigers trailed by 23 to University of the Cumberlands on Jan. 14 but ended up winning, 76-75.
Sekou Harris went 0-of-5 from the floor in the first half but finished hitting 8-of-9 in the second half and scored a game-high 25 points. Dii'jon Allen-Jordan helped in the scoring column, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds for his 12th double-double this season.
Compared to CU's hot second half, Lindsey Wilson (15-11, 5-8 MSC) struggled hitting only 7-of-20 (35 percent).
Harris made the first 3 of the night for CU with 15:27 on the second-half clock and worked the Lindsey Wilson lead to 18. After DJ Lambert answered with a 3 of his own, Harris came right back with his second triple and started to get hot.
In the next CU possession, Rob Robinson drained a 3 while being fouled and made the free throw to cut the lead to 11 points, 49-38, with 12:03 left. Lindsey Wilson worked the lead to 12 points with 10:52 left, but then didn't hit a field goal again until 4:56 remained on the clock.
Campbellsville was able to go on a 16-1 run before the next Blue Raider basket and took a 57-54 lead. The shooting woes continued for Lindsey Wilson and the Tigers remained on fire. Leading by just two with 4:07, the Tigers made their final five shots from the floor while Lindsey Wilson went 1-of-8.
Freshman Hagen Tyler put the proverbial nail in the coffin and the Powell Athletic Center crowd went nuts after he drained his only 3 to put the Tigers ahead by six points, 65-59, with 2:12 left. In the final 4:07, Harris scored 10 of the Tigers' 15 points with Ron Scott adding the other two.
Campbellsville will stay in the Powell Athletic Center on Saturday, Feb. 20 to host Cumberland University for Senior Day. The doubleheader is scheduled for a 2 p.m. ET tipoff with Senior Day being held before each game. Fans can watch the game live on the CU Sports Network.
