Jarman's 72 moves her to third at MSC Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Michaela Jarman fired the low score in Round 2 of the Mid-South Conference with a career-low even par 72, while Anna-Marie Hyatt was two shots off the pace with a two-over 74.

As a team the Lady Tigers sit in second place with a team score of 306 in the second round.

Jarman, playing as an individual, went low with a career-high five birdies – three in a row on holes No. 11, 12 and 13 - to get to two-under on her round. But a pair of bogeys coming in on the par four 16th and par five 18th holes dropped her to even for the day. Overall, Jarman is in solo third place at eight-over through two rounds.

Hyatt was very consistent in her second round with 14 pars, three bogeys and a birdie on the par three 11th. Hyatt moved up to second place at seven-over and is five shots behind University of the Cumberlands' Constanze Sieker (+2). Jarman gained three strokes on Sieker and Hyatt picked up one today.

CU has a pair of Lady Tigers tied for 10th. Junior Cassidy Scantland improved six shots today with a four-over 76 and Withrow improved four shots with a five-over 77. Scantland finished with 13 pars, one birdie, three bogeys and a double. Withrow had nine pars, seven bogeys and a pair of birdies.

Ashley Goodin improved four shots today with a seven-over 79 and Olivia Parrott fired an identical first round score of 84. Goodin sits in solo 13th, while Parrott is tied for 22nd.

Campbellsville improved 17 strokes from its first round score but was still one shot behind Cumberlands. CU finished with a 306, while the Patriots fired a 305. The Lady Tigers are 21 strokes behind UC. Kailtyn Riley (T4) and Rachel Pingleton (T4) join Sieker in the Top 5. Individual Taylor Church is in sixth at 10-over for the Cumberlands.

Behind the Lady Tigers, Cumberland University trails by 21 strokes and is third (650), while Lindsey Wilson is hot on the trail and is in fourth (655). University of Pikeville is right behind the Blue Raiders in fifth (660). Georgetown College (715) and St. Catharine College (807) round out sixth and seventh, respectively.

The third and final round of the MSC Championship will conclude tomorrow at Bowling Green Country Club. Individuals will tee off at 9 a.m. ET.
