CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Cassidy Scantland added a little more hardware to her already filled trophy case this weekend, with her 10th career tournament championship at the Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational.

Scantland, a junior from Greensburg, Ky., fired a 152 (73-79) in her two rounds to win medalist honors. She outlasted a last push by University of the Cumberlands' Constanze Sieker 154 (81-73).
Scantland has now won the MSC Fall and Spring Tournaments for the second time in her career. She also earned this feat her freshman season when she won the MSC Fall, Spring and Tournament Championship en route to being named MSC Freshman and Player of the Year.

The Lady Tigers, who came into Round 2 trailing by just one stroke, shot 20 strokes worst than their opening round score to fall off the pace of the champions, Cumberlands. CU finished with a 658 team total through two rounds, while the Patriots totaled 637.
UC, which was led by Sieker, Kaitlyn Riley (159) and Annabeth McKay (162), had three players in the Top 6 and five in the Top 14.
Campbellsville's Ashley Goodin and Olivia Parrott also finished in the Top 10. Goodin fell off the pace after her first round 77 to shoot 87 (164) in Round 2. Parrott, playing as an individual, finished two shots back of her first round total with an 11-over par 83 today (164).
Anna-Marie Hyatt followed her first round total of 81 with a 14-over 86 on Day 2. She placed tied for 14th with a total of 167.
Kylie Withrow and Michaela Jarman finished tied for 27th and 30th, respectively. Withrow fired 88-87 (175), while Jarman followed with a pair of 88s (176).
The runner-up finish for CU is the fourth this season. The Lady Tigers placed second behind Cumberlands at the MSC Fall Tournament, the NCCAA National Tournament in Panama City, Fla. and also the Cumberland Phoenix Classic on March 21-22.
CU has a quick turn around, as it will hit the links again on April 9-10 at the University of Pikeville Spring Invitational at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Ky.
