Top-25 matchup on tap as No. 24 Women’s Volleyball travels to No. 17 Georgetown on Tuesday

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The 24th-ranked Campbellsville women's volleyball team is back on the road Tuesday night as it travels to 17th-ranked Georgetown College for a 7 p.m. ET first serve.
 
Campbellsville currently has a half-game lead on Georgetown in the conference standings. Both teams have nine Mid-South Conference victories, but Campbellsville has two conference losses, compared to three from Georgetown.
 
Entering Tuesday night, Campbellsville brings its longest winning streak of the season into the match after winning its last nine matches to move to 20-3 on the year. Campbellsville earned a 3-1 victory in its last match at Life University on Saturday afternoon. Against the Running Eagles, Kate Harris and Marcella Compeau set career highs as Harris recorded 39 assists and Compeau tallied 33 digs.
 
Annija Abolina leads Campbellsville this season with 231 kills, while hitting at a .314 mark. The senior also leads the team with 40 aces and she is second with 41 blocks. Maria Coelho is the only other player for Campbellsville with 200 kills as she has notched 213 kills in 23 matches.
 
Compeau leads the back row for Campbellsville with 318 digs on the year and she is averaging 4.03 digs per set this season. Compeau has also recorded at least 20 digs in her last four matches and has reached double figures in digs over her last 12 appearances.
 
Georgetown enters the week with an overall mark of 14-3 with all three losses coming in conference play. In its last match, Georgetown suffered a five-set loss on the road to Life. Kassidy Rauh ranks 12th in the NAIA with 10.70 assists per set this season. Jenny Howell leads Georgetown with 200 kills and a .288 hitting percentage.
 
Earlier this season, Georgetown defeated Campbellsville inside the Powell Athletic Center in straight sets. Georgetown's victory snapped Campbellsville's eight-match winning streak to start the season, which was previously the longest winning streak this season for Campbellsville.
 
Campbellsville has lost its last 16 matches against Georgetown with the last win coming on Sept. 20, 2011 when Campbellsville outlasted Georgetown in five sets.
